Chip 'N Dale: Rescue Rangers Reboot?!

I can't decide if this is a really good idea, or a horribly bad one. I loved watching Chip 'N Dale: Rescue Rangers when it was part of the Disney Afternoon lineup, but couldn't get into watching it again a few years ago. It was a little beyond ridiculous. I wonder why Disney wanted to revisit it, and as a reboot, I mean, a comeback.

Gummi Bears Are Bouncing Into Funko's POPVinyl Lineup

One of my favorite Disney Afternoon shows was Adventures of the Gummi Bears. The friendly medieval bears bounced their way onto the screen and I was hooked. I even got Bean hooked on them, but we only had the first three seasons, so we were both delighted to discover that the entire series is available on Disney+. And if that wasn't enough, now Funko has created an adorable line of POPVinyl figures of those loveable characters.

The set of five figures includes:

• Tummi with his Gummiberry Juice
• Zummi with the Great Book of Gummi
• Gruffi looking like his usual gruff but clever self
• Cubbi with his wooden sword
• Sunni who appears to be bouncing for joy

Conspicuously missing is Grammi Gummi, as well as the Gummi's human friends Cavin and Princess Calla. Perhaps there will be a second set? We can only hope. The Gummi Bears POPVinyl figures should arrive in stores by mid-June.

Normally, I prefer the smaller Funko POPVinyl figures, (what can I say, you can pack a lot of fun onto one shelf), but this 10 inch Scrooge McDuck POPVinyl is too cool. Scrooge is in his classic striped bathing suit, ready to take a dive into the coins from his money bin. I just love how happy he looks! This POPVinyl is available exclusively at Target.

Gargoyles POPVinyl Will Soon be Flying Into Stores

My absolute favorite Disney cartoon series in the 90s was Gargoyles. The characters were fascinating: police Detective Elisa Maza, and a small clan of gargoyles that had been stuck as stone for a thousand years: Goliath, Hudson, Broadway, Brooklyn, Lexington, and their pet, Bronx. I loved every episode, full of magic, mystery, and more than a few references to Shakespeare and Avalon.

Funko has recently announced that their next POPVinyl set will be "the defenders of the night"... Gargoyles! The set includes seven Gargoyles, as well as four additional stone Gargoyles available at select locations. There will also be three POP! keychains. All figures should arrive in stores in July.

DuckTales As Told By Emoji

The DuckTales theme song is pretty cool "As Told By Emoji". The new DuckTales series will debut on Saturday, September 23 on DisneyXD. And just in case you missed it, Disney is replaying the movie that starts the series every day this week on both the Disney Channel and DisneyXD.

If you grew up in the late '80s, you probably remember watching DuckTales. The cartoon series followed the adventures of Donald Duck's nephew's, Huey, Dewey, and Louie, and their great-uncle, Scrooge McDuck.

Disney has created a new series, loosely based on the original, which will feature an amazing cast, including David Tennant as Uncle Scrooge, Danny Pudi as Huey, Ben Schwartz as Dewey, Bobby Moynihan as Louie, Kate Micucci as Webby, Toks Olagundoye as Mrs. Beakley, Beck Bennett as Lauchpad McQuack, and Tony Anselmo as Donald Duck.

Featuring a distinct animation style inspired by the classic Carl Barks’ comic designs, DuckTales chronicles the high-flying adventures of Duckburg’s most famous trillionaire Scrooge McDuck, his mischief-making triplet grandnephews – Huey, Dewey and Louie, temperamental nephew Donald Duck and the trusted McDuck Manor team: big-hearted, fearless chauffer/pilot Launchpad McQuack; no-nonsense housekeeper Mrs. Beakley; and Mrs. Beakley’s granddaughter, Webby Vanderquack, resident adventurer and the triplet’s newfound fierce friend.

An all new version of DuckTales is coming to DisneyXD next summer. It looks like all of your favorite characters will be returning, but with new voices. Bean was most excited about David Tennant as the voice of Scrooge McDuck. In a fun nod to the original series, the new cast of DuckTales sang the old theme song.
